we start at the beginning:
bye bye toronto (not canada!)

here is the full moon i saw in halifax where thom got on the plane - tres belle!

i had the fortune of choosing a window seat so in the morning i got to see the sun rising over the clouds! i also had 20.7 kg of luggage BOO YA NO OVERWEIGHT CHARGES FOR ME!!! it's a miracle cause my bags certianly felt overweight!

we had a bit of a trip from charles de gaulle to orly -- paris had a taxi strike that day lucky us. trekking it on the paris metro with 20 kg at least of luggage is not fun. so got to orly checked in had some issues and then took off for ajaccio at 3pm. we both immediately fell asleep.
the view was stunning of the island as we flew over!
next mondoloni met us at the airport and took us to l'EREA -- not a fun place to live. but here is my window:

and ajax!! so cute

the stunning view from the not stunning bathroom - les iles saguinaires are in the background

the beach that first night - a little blurry but beautiful shades of blue. the water was even warm in the evening!

this is the first restaurant we ate at. had some pietra (corsican beer) and amazing deilcious pizzas which were however a little salty.

here is a cute street by the citadell and also by one of my schools: fiocioli conti (i think that's how it's spelt)

l'EREA from teh outside boooo i'm so happy i never have to go there again!

typical street -- this one is pascal rossini i think but it changes names so often i can't remember what it's called. here i'm pretty sure it's pascal rossini -- right across from the academie de la corse. i was feeling pretty depressed in this moment after trying to find ceccarelli and being told she wasn't there and not having benaya's number and trying to figure out what i was going to do and where i was going to sleep but i looked at those pink flowers (fuschia is more appropriate) and realized... ah life's not so bad!

this is the view of ajaccio from thom's lycee laetitia (?) that is a little outside the centre and up a hill (of course) or (of corse?! haha!) one of my schools is near here as well. it was a bit scummier in this area but interesting all the same. with mondoloni i took a stunning drive up on a belvedere yesterday to see the school -- fabulous breathtaking wow!

the street along la mer... pascal rossini? anyway wow pretty stunning!

sailboats out in the sea

a beautiful building i pass everday

sun and sea = ajaccio even in october!!
well.. it was still officially september at this time!

here is place foch -- near the harbour and very picturesque... got a wild boar postcard here and a newspaper.. i also found on my bench maeva + gino (haha cool maeva!!)

a street near the lycee laetitia i think

not finished yet but will update again later xxx
